Hanging In There At 80

I'm about to reach another age plateau,
This being when your age changes so.
Now, I need medicine to keep me standing upright,
And oxygen so I can breathe during the night

I couldn't do without Beconase spray...

This, also helps my breathing during the day.

Then there is Lipator, and Lopressure,

They being the pills that help me with my blood pressure.

Also, I'm told that an aspirin a day,

Helps keep a heart attack away.

An asthmatic condition is something to behold.

This too, you can acquire when you grow old.

Then there are the inhalers...aerosol sprays.

Guess you might say they come in treys.

Azamort, Atrovent, and Vanceril.

I must say, taking all these ain't no thrill.

I went to bed with Arthritis, and I don't care,

But I found out this morning, he was still there.

Now, I take Celebrex to ease the pain,

And I guess that I will do it again, and again.

But, being eighty is a great time in one's life.

Tis time to count your blessings, and appreciate a good wife.

Also, enjoy your family, and/or a good friend.

Hopefully, tomorrow's another day so I can do it again.
